'The Lonesome West'

These photographs were taken in response to the play, and for exhibition corresponding with the production of 'The Lonesome West', by Martin McDonagh, at the Lyric Theatre in Belfast 2005.

Taking inspiration from the tone of the play, the images portray a landscape, almost entirely devoid of people, yet with a human influence, one of solitude and alienation, a poetic 'presence of absence'.
